Pokhara

In a not very salubrious 'hotel' in Pokhara this evening. No hot water or electricity, grubby sheets and light from a tiny candle that is just about to burn out.
The view of Pokhara rooftops from my window.
I do have about an hour of battery power on my netbook however, so am writing this and downloading photos so that I can send tomorrow when I charge everything up.

Cows being moved on from the fruit stall
Back up to the ridge tomorrow, thank goodness.

  1. Sounds a great way of letting go of "civilisation" and transitioning to a simple life. Have a good night and don't let the bugs bite. J

  2. Hope you're a bit more comfortable by the time you read this! Looking forward to reading about your first day back with the children - I expect they are now very excited.
