Some random photos. Have you seen the previous blog?

Regulars on my daily commute to school

Daily hay gathering for the buffalo and goats
Washing out to dry  around the hay

Seconday school assembly and a marching lesson
Japanese tourist taking a close-up

- and paying for it

Just seen two teenagers shovelling concrete into a basket strapped onto a woman's back. She looked about 70, but I suppose you'd age quickly if your job was to carry around cement in a basket held in place by a strap around your head. Didn't get a photo as I saw it from the bus.

  1. Is the marching lesson a military based thing or just general exercise/discipline ? Do you hear much about the Ghurkas (sp?)

  2. The marching is general exercise/discipline. Very funny to watch as the teacher says 'straight legs' and so they kick the child in front and then they all fall over like dominoes.

Have met lots of English Ghurka officers as the Ghurka camp is just down the road.

    Thanks for posting!
